They are about 1.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide.

  • 2 – 6mm safety eyes
  • Fiber fill
  • Yarn needle
  • Lobster claw keychain
  • Sewing pins

Here is the pattern:

R6-9: sc around (30sts)

  • Attach the safety eyes between rows 6 and 7, 5 stitches apart
  • Attach the lobster claw to the center of the top of the head

R11: *sc 2, dec* around (18sts)

Fasten off with a long tail. Fold in half to make a half circle and sew the opening closed. Then sew on to the head (use pins to hold it in place as you go)

FEET: (make 4)

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6sts)

R2: In back loops only, sc around (6sts)

Fasten off with a long tail. Attach to the bottom of the head.

TRUNK:

R2: In back loops only, sc around (4sts)

R3: sc around (4sts)

R4: sc 3, inc (5sts)

R5: sc 4, inc (6sts)

  1. hi! i stumbled upon your pattern while looking for a new pattern to try! it is really cute, and i thought of trying it, but as i am quite new to crocheting, what does crocheting only in the back loops mean?
